Author names appearing for eScholarship journal articles, even when 'Omit author name' is set for the section containging the article

This toggle is not currently supported by the new eScholarship public site, but support will be added in the future.

In the meantime, it is recommended that you add information for a single author for articles in these section, with a name such as "[Journal Name] Editors"

This issue has been resolved. Journal Editors should ensure that any article for which author information should not be displayed is properly configured in the submission management system. To do so:

  1. Locate the article in the submission management system (Use Manage All Submissions > Issues > Back Issues to locate an article).
  2. Navigate to the 1. Summary page for the article and select Edit Metadata under the Submission Metadata heading.
  3. Scroll to the bottom of the Edit Metadata screen and set the Omit Author Names option to 'Omit.'
  4. Save your changes.
  5. Return to the Table of Contents preview screen and select 'Update Published Issue.' The issue should refresh with omitted author names within about 30 minutes.
