Thanks for your question Michele.
There is a Preview function when you are submitting new items to eScholarship. You should see it in the pending/edit view at https://submit.escholarship.org. Note that there is a known bug with the Preview functionality in that only new, non-published items can be previewed. Changes to existing items cannot be previewed at the current time.
Below is a screenshot of where the "Preview Item" button appears:

There used to be a preview function on escholarship, which I am not finding now, where you could view previous submissions. Does it still exist? It would be great to access it? Can you let me know how to find it?
