We strongly recommend that you avoid changing the title of your journal, unless this new title reflects a significant departure in your journal’s focus or ownership, as this change can have disruptive effects ranging from indexing errors to decreasing author submissions. (For example, your journal will be required to apply for an obtain a new ISSN.) Most of all, changing the title of your journal will create confusion for your readers.

If you feel your journal title needs to change, please get in touch with us for a consultation. You will be required to complete the journal proposal form for your new title.
