Cover pages for eScholarship content

eScholarship automatically generates and appends a PDF cover page to all content deposited in eScholarship. This cover page won't display when viewing the article from within the browser, but it does display when downloaded from eScholarship or linked from another web site (such as Google Scholar).

The PDF cover page includes basic metadata about each item in eScholarship (e.g. title, publication date, author(s)) as well as the item's permanent URL on eScholarship so users can find the item again in the future. Cover pages also include copyright, licensing, and reuse information.
