We automatically append a cover page to all eScholarship content. This cover page won't show up when you are viewing the article from within your web browser, but you will see the cover page when you download the PDF.

The PDF cover page includes the eScholarship logo, the publishing unit's logo, a permanent link back to the article, and basic metadata such as title, author, publication date, keywords and abstract. Cover pages also include copyright, licensing, and reuse information. Relevant badges, such as the peer review badge, will appear here as well.

If you'd rather not have cover pages on the content in your series, contact eScholarship Support to request that they be disabled.
