Sort order for eScholarship content within a series

By default, eScholarship sorts content within a series using the following criteria:

1. Content is first sorted by publication date, with more recent content appearing toward the top of the page.
   
   
2. If publication dates are the same for multiple items, the content is then sorted alphabetically by author name (Last, First).
   
   
3. If author names are the same for multiple items, the content is then sorted alphabetically by title.
   
   

Readers viewing the site can customize their sort order by using the "Sort by" menu.
